Apply now ***Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant*** ***Fantastic Opportunity*** ***£70 - £85 daily rate *** We are currently seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly and welcoming secondary school based in Slough. The position will be supporting young people with extremely challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster strong rapport with young people and effectively build relationships with the designated pupils. The candidate must have previous experience working in a similar role and have the confidence and a positive approach to behaviour management and also demonstrate the care, patience and understanding towards the children with a genuine passion to ensure each student strives to reach their full potential and future. The candidate must have emotional resilience and have an ability to engage with the learners who may have had a negative experience of education. Key Responsibilities: Promoting written and verbal English skillsMonitoring behaviour and engaging pupils throughout lessonsLiaising with the classroom teacher and parents to effectively support pupilsCreating a stimulating and welcoming learning environment to support the pupils Facilitating learning by differentiation instructionEncourage appropriate social interactions. Maintain professional standards at all times. Successful Candidates MUST have: Have a Teaching Assistant QualificationBe competent and able to support studentsHave an excellent understanding of different emotional behavioursMust have SEN experience DBS This role is starting as a long term role, however may lead to a permanent position.
