Your new company Located in Newton Le Willows the primary school is looking for a qualified teaching assistant. The position is due to start after Easter and will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate. This role is full-time, (5 days a week). Through supporting its pupils, who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schooling, the school faculty removes the barriers to engagement and learning often a consequence of social, emotional and behavioural issues. Your new role The school need a behavioural Teaching Assistant to help increase the maximum learning potential of one student with challenging behaviour. Your role as a Teaching Assistant will require you to work alongside the school's teachers to support and deliver learning activities, facilitate effective learning and promote a happy school environment for the child. The challenges you will face day to day mean you must be a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour and the desire to have a positive impact on building good relationships with staff and students.What you'll need to succeed You must have recent and relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant either in a voluntary or paid capacity with students with challenging behaviour. You must also have a passion for working with challenging students and be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development.
