Apply now We are pleased to be working with one of the most reputable insurers operating within the UK today, where they are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support the regional Business Development Manager (BDM) and Underwriting teams to build relationships and drive initiatives with key brokers. This role will assist with the acquisition of new business, championing broker systems; pipeline management, acting as point of contact for customers and implementation of sales initiatives. They will also be responsible for ensuring activities are FCA compliant and adhere to good governance and in line with industry service standards. Job Responsibilities - •Maximise NB through communicating appetite to brokers, cross/up selling on submissions or queries received from key broker panel. •Work directly with BDM's to look after the key panel, including the creation and execution of broker sales plans. •Build strong relationships with key brokers, acting as focal point for all queries. •Act as a key contact on key broker relationship plans. •Maintain strong relationships with all internal stakeholders across all lines. Attend & represent Broker Engagement in internal and external meetings. •Collaborate across the business to embed sales plans and ensure multiline enquiries are coordinated where appropriate. •Monitor & implement monthly performance MI and identify trends to focus on with the BDM team. •Co-ordinate broker surveys and manage follow up. •Assists in the organising of various events and social engagements. •Ensures good governance including: acting as the focal point for complaints; maintaining records for non-standard broker remuneration. •Compliance and FCA awareness •Commercial Insurance knowledge wither from an insurer or broking background •Strong negotiating and communication skills •Team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach In addition to having the right experience outlined above, it is essential that you have a confident and outgoing personality and can work within a team where you'll need to have the ability to challenge certain situations is a positive manner.
