Apply now CDM / Health and Safety Advisor A leading multi-disciplined construction contractor that specialise in basements, demolition and re fits, is looking to appoint a CDM / Health and Safety Advisor to work on a large scale, high value project in Maidenhead. This project is expected to last 2 years with the scope of continuing on to future projects for the company thereafter. The role of the CDM / Health and SafetyAdvisor As the CDM / Health and Safety Advisor your main responsibilities will include: Communicating effectively with contractors, designers and clientAssisting clients to ensure they comply with their dutiesAdvise on all aspects of health and safety throughout the construction phaseReviewing and monitoring contractors' and designers' compliance with CDM regulationsProviding information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout projectUndertaking duties in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015. The Successful CDM / Health and Safety Advisor The successful CDM / Health and Safety Advisor should ideally hold the following: Expert knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regs 2015NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and SafetyIOSH membership - Tech minimumMember of the Associate of Project Safety (IMaPS or CMaPS) preferredAbility to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload and ability to lead teams The Package of the successful CDM / Health and Safety Advisor: Basic Salary up to £50,000 based on experienceExcellent contributory pension scheme Life assurance and Childcare vouchers26 days' annual leave + Bank HolidaysProfessional subscriptions If you are a Health and Safety Advisor in the Maidenhead/Berkshire area, please contact Chris Austwick at Brandon James.
