Apply now An opportunity has arisen for a committed, energetic, hard-working and enthusiastic person to join us in a counter sales assistant role, serving our loyal customer base in Staines Upon Thames. For more than 30 years, Ashford Heating Supplies has built its' reputation on selling quality, branded products at fair prices and providing expert advice to our plumbing, heating and bathroom trade customers. Currently the counter provides high levels of customer service to both trade and retail customers, handling a wide range of heating, plumbing and bathroom products from numerous manufacturers . The business also includes our award winning Bathe and Beyond dedicated bathroom showroom showcasing an impressive range of bathroom products, all housed at the same site on the A30 in Staines Upon Thames. Working closely within a small friendly team, this is a customer facing role, dealing with customers over the phone and face to face. General duties also include picking orders from the warehouse and keeping the counter well stocked and tidy. A clean driving licence is required. Previous experience of selling to, or assisting customers in our field (or closely related) would be an advantage, but keenness to learn and provide excellent customer service is of primary importance. This is a permanent, full time position, working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning. You'll be entitled to 25 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays, contributory pension and generous staff discounts. Salary negotiable and competitive.
