Apply now Do you have a clean, current driving licence and substantial driving experience of sizeable vehicles, as well as knowledge of roads and routes in and around York? Are you punctual and reliable? Do you have good car maintenance disciplines and ability to perform daily/weekly checks on oil, water, tyres, washers and electrical equipment? Are you able to work flexible hours including evenings, late evenings and weekends, sometimes at short notice? An exciting opportunity has arisen with our high profile client based in York, to supply a professional chauffeuring service to VIPs and dignitaries, plus provide general assistance during high profile events. Whilst previous chauffeuring experience would be beneficial, full training may be given to individuals who have driven larger vehicles. We are particularly interested in candidates who possess a full clean driving licence, an understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and legislation, as well as being flexible and having interpersonal skills to deal with a wide range of groups and individuals. The role can involve long and unsociable hours, so the successful candidate must be flexible about their working pattern and willing to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, sometimes at short notice.
