You are: Driven and enjoy working to targets with experience of working as a Claims Handler managing your own caseload. You like to be busy and have recent experience of dealing with Litigated RTA matters in order to recover insurer subrogated outlay and uninsured losses (excluding personal injury). Ideally you have experience of working on the side of the claimant. You are able to communicate very clearly and effectively with people on the telephone and in writing. You also have the ability to concentrate on targets and work to deadlines in an environment where there is lots going on around you, and you take huge pride in doing your job well. You are a good listener, a fast learner and have a practical problem-solving approach to your work. You have: Client-centric approach to your work with excellent client-care skillsEducation to GCSE standard grade A-C in Mathematics and English (or equivalent)Experience working on the claimant side, dealing with defences put forward by the other side (ideally)Experience working as a Claims Handler dealing with litigation (essential)ILEX Legal Executive Diploma Level 3 or above (not essential but desirable)Qualifying Law Degree (not essential but desirable) You will: Be part of a friendly, welcoming team with supportive and friendly colleagues. You will be responsible for reviewing cases, assessing for liability and undertaking proceedings and enforcing court judgements. Working to tight deadlines, you will manage a caseload of road traffic accident claims with a value of £10,000 or less from the point of issuing Court Proceedings through to trial, obtaining and enforcing court judgements/settlement, with the aim of recovering money for insurer clients and meeting individual and team targets. You will be expected to work hard to achieve the best results for the firm and its clients.
