We are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Lead who is qualified in one of the following professions: Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist (OT) or Paramedic. As part of the Government's welfare reform agenda, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have introduced a new benefit called Personal Independence Payment (PIP), which has replaced Disability Living Allowance (DLA). PIP is designed to better reflect today's understanding of disability and is focused on helping with the extra costs disabled people face in order to live independent lives. Your primary role will be to conduct mobile health and disability assessments in line with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). You will be an effective coach and mentor, and will be adept at delivering supervisions and identifying training needs. You will also need strong typing skills, with basic knowledge of using Microsoft Word. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is also required. The role is covering Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich with a starting salary of £35,000pa.
