Apply now Club General Manager - Gorgeous Health Club and Spa Full time £24K base plus fantastic bonus Gloucester Area My client is one of the leading Health & Fitness and Spa management providers within the UK. They have some stunning luxury facilities at a range of different hotels and are currently on the lookout for a highly motivated Manager within the Gloucester area. This role will include responsibility for the operation of club and spa, leading a team of health and fitness professionals and beauty therapists, as well as ensuring our customers enjoy a clean and safe environment in which to relax and exercise. To meet our high standards of customer service, applicants should be able to create a friendly and fun environment for all guests and staff, possess good communication skills, be flexible and have previous supervisory experience of leading and motivating a team. Aims of the Role To beat the budgeted contributionTo exceed all membership sales targetsTo control all costs relating to the operation of the club within budget focussing particularly on payroll, maintenance, marketing and consumablesTo achieve high levels of member satisfaction monitored through member retention, ongoing feedback, and an annual surveyTo ensure the business is safe and clean at all times and that health and safety records are up to dateTo ensure all staff training in all areas is up to dateTo lead efficient, fully trained and motivated heads of department who influence their teamsTo work a variety of shifts in accordance with the business needs Responsibilities To provide great customer service for all members and guests, focussing on the greeting at reception, the service in the spa and the implementation of a membership retention programmeTo be accountable for all aspects of the Club operation.To work closely with, and provide support to the teamTo delegate management responsibility appropriately to other members of the management team in your absenceTo administer all the processes relating to invoicing, banking, accounts and payrollTo drive the departments to consistently achieve all financial targets on a monthly basis.To oversee an effective, daily cleaning programmeTo produce and implement a strategic marketing plan for the club and spaTo pro-actively focus on driving the spa forward and increasing profitability There is a fantastic training plan in place to support you in this role. You will be involved in creating your own Training Needs Analysis and Training Plan, Action plans and Objectives agreed with the Regional Manager and you will get constant mentoring and support from Head Office and Regional team.
