Apply now This is a really good opportunity for somebody looking for a home based role. Our client's business model is to have a network of home based account executives based around the UK with full broker, admin and underwriting support provided from a Leeds based HQ. You will be provided with a home office set-up including laptop, mobile, internet connection etc.. and full access to Acturis system. As well as having most major composite and specialist markets, you also be able to use exclusive schemes as well as having "thepen" with a major insurer allowing you to make your own underwriting decisions at point of sale. Although the role is predominately development oriented, there is a high chance you will be given a client portfolio to get you going (around £50k brokerage) and you will be able to develop from there, retaining all of your clients and building your own portfolio. Although the role is salaried, they do operate a flexible earning model which means you could go commission only if you so wish and earn a much larger % of the value of your portfolio. In terms of experience, we do require applicants to have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, ideally client facing or development experience gained in either a broker or a direct insurer environment. We are also willing to consider those of you perhaps working as a broker or an underwriter but wishing to pursue this type of role. You will be provided with a good level of basic salary + commission, full benefits including a generous car allowance and will benefits from having a flexible and autonomous working environment.
