Apply now Commercial Real Estate- Management (Retail) - Our Client is a large Property Company who hold a variety of assets within its prestigious property portfolio and are in the process of expanding this still further - as a result of further expansion on one of their key sites they are now seeking a Senior Surveyor to assume responsibility for the mobilisation and management of a key, prime central London retail / shopping centre asset - THE ROLE is that of Senior Surveyor:- Attending regular and ad-hoc client meetings, and provide the client with, operational updates and recommendations as necessary. Ensuring the client is happy with the reporting and response time frames.Supporting the delivery of the property management function and manage operational issues to ensure satisfactory resolution, working closely with onsite centre management teams.Monitor the existing procedures and recommend amendments/updates as and when necessary.Ensure all statutory compliance and requirements are met.Providing advice on project delivery as appropriate and provision of additional services as required.Coordinating, assisting, preparing and reviewing the management reports, service charge reconciliation packs and service charge budget packs.Assisting in the preparation and review of the service charge budget to ensure competitively benchmarked against competitors.Supporting the finance team with regard to invoicing and credit control and including overview of management account, where appropriate.Ensuring lease events are diarised and reported to clients and their instructions acted upon.Managing and assisting with service charge and insurance renewals, including client liaison and presentation.Providing any necessary support to other team members, particularly in relation to holiday cover and ad-hoc tasks reasonably requested. THE PERSON: - To apply you MUST ideally be 2 years' post RICS qualified and have solid commercial real estate experience, with an emphasis on retail assets and management. You will also possess knowledge / experience of service charge management, lease management and tenant applications. Additionally, the applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent team leading / working skills, excellent communication through written and verbal formats and ensure delivery of results subject to strict deadlines.
