Apply on employer's website This field based role will joining our Compliance team for our Insurance & Assistance Division and can be based in London (EC3A) but will need a regular weekly presence in our Haywards Heath, West Sussex Office. This role will assist in the implementation of the divisions risk-based audit plan of agents and third party providers. The role involves office based administration as well as on site agency auditing and forms part of our second line of defence. The role will be split across our London and Haywards Heath offices Responsibilities Providing an objective and disciplined approach to evaluating the effectiveness of Agents and outsource provider's internal financial and non-financial controls, risk framework and governance processes.Where necessary assist agents in developing their understanding of regulatory expectation.Assist in conducting a comprehensive programme of risk based Agent and outsource provider reviews aligned to Collinson's business objectives and culture.Assist and complete onsite agency audits including their preparationAgreeing findings /recommendations and associated action plans with all key stakeholders Follow up on agreed audit actions and obtain evidence of performance to determine the appropriate remediation of the agreed audit actions has taken placeWorking with Collinson's first line of defence to manage delegated authority and outsourcing risk effectively.Maintenance of the risk assessment database Experience: Have experience in compliance in a personal lines insurance environment includinGood knowledge of insurance regulation (including FCA, PRA)Worked within the Compliance / Regulatory function of a General InsurerExperience in managing / reviewing delegated authorities / outsourced functionsExperience in risk-based auditingProficient computer skills including experience in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPointA relevant professional qualification preferred Person Specification: Effective communicator both written and verbal with individuals at all levels of the organisation and with external contactsStrong influencer including senior colleagueAbility to maintain integrity at all timesAbility to operate to strict deadlinesOpen to frequent field based visits
