Our client works with a range of PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc). About the role: - Design and write new software for PLC, SCADA and Robot control - Analyse customer requirements - Specify and purchase SCADA and PLC hardware - Support factory acceptance tests - On-site commissioning - Remote plant control and customer support - Generate project documentation and drawings - International business travel when required Essentials - Experience in Automation Engineering role - Relevant Degree/HNC qualification with relevant experience - Proficient in PLC programming - Excellent understanding of Machine safety Desirable - Siemens S7 experience - CoDeSys experience
