The Customer Service Advisor is key member in the Bristol Supply Chain. Key responsibilities will include : Comply with Code of Conduct and behaviours across the organization.Health, Safety and Environmental duties as listed in the Company HS&E Policy and other duties (e.g. as detailed in the Structures & Responsibility Matrix of the Company Policy Manual)Customer Service management, including processing sales orders and forecasts, vai EDI and Manual entry into the IMI ERP platform.Managing Global Customers both OEM and intergroupExpediting customer order,s liasing with production to ensure OTD to customerDaily interaction with customers both electronic and verbal.Build sustainable relationships with nominated customers.Negotiate and manage customer expectations including leadtimes, MOQ, batch sizes etc.Maintaining the integrity of the customer service ERP item master data.Work closely with Supply Chain Planning and Production.Input into the IMI SIOP planning procedures championing the customer requirements.Attending the daily production meetingMaintain on-time delivery to customer in line with the company targetsContinuous improvement, identify and implement appropriate improvements to the systems and infrastructure.Timely management reporting Essential: A-Levels/NVQ Level 3/ HND / HNC or equivalent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) Proven Customer Service Experience Desirable: Automotive experience.Understanding of Lean techniquesKnowledge of Supply Chain Planning techniquesKnowledge of Import Export ComplianceStrong communication Skills The successful candidate will be required to 'hit the ground running' and quickly analyse the market and competition to understand the key challenges and opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving strategy and comfortable balancing both short and long-term results.
