Apply now We are recruiting for a Deputy Care Home Manager for an Older People's Residential Care Home close to the Southport area of Merseyside. This position is commutable from Ormskirk (17 mins/7.3 miles), Skelmersdale (29 mins/13.7 miles), Kirkby (29mins/15.5 miles), St Helens (39mins/23.5 miles) and Preston (38mins/19.5 miles). Your responsibilities as their Deputy Manager will include: Organise & allocate staff to tasks for the day;Supervise staff;Conducting medication rounds and delivering personal care;Liaise with family, GPs and other health professionals;Carrying out assessments, audits, supervisions and appraisals with the Manager;On call responsibilities. This is more than just a job, it's a vocation, and there some terrific further rewards too, including: £27,456 per annum, 48 Hours per week;3-4 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, shifts normally 08:00 am - 20:00 pm;Investment in your training and development. You will be working to Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent and be willing to go on and do Level 5.
