Apply now Early Years, Nursery Management, Senior leadership, Taunton, learning support Your new companyHays Education is looking to recruit an early year's Deputy manager on behalf of an exceptional new Nursery in the Taunton area.This private nursery has been running for over a decade, with fantastic reviews from both staff and parents, they pride themselves on their commitment to each individual child.Your new roleInitial training will be offered, however experience having managed a team of 5+ is required. You will support the manager in day to day admin tasks, observations and assessments working alongside each child under then nurseries care. You will manage the team in absence of the manager and assume tasks such organising staff rota, working with families to aid with Education Health care plans and working closely with staff and children to ensure all safeguarding regulations are met.What you'll need to succeedYou will already have experience working in a similar environment, having worked with ages 0-5yrs old (including baby rooms), and preferably have leadership/management experience. You will hold relevant qualifications in childcare and exhibit passion for EYFS and the advancement of every child into the next steps of their education.You will also be helping other staff to complete training, and help them to utilise their full potential within the nursery.What you'll get in returnThis role offers the opportunity to work with an encouraging, engaging and capable team to help you further your early years career.
