Do you have previous experience in design within a manufacturing environment? This rapidly expanding bespoke company is a market leader within the agricultural industry and has grown to become one of the dominant names in the industry with a network covering the length and breadth of the UK. Due to rapid expansion there is now a fantastic opportunity for a design engineer with solidworks experience to join the permanent team. The role will include creating 3D models and 2D drawings of agricultural/plant equipment.The successful candidate will be involved in taking a project from conceptual images all of the way through to a finished product. The Role*Creating 3D models using stress simulation to produce 2D engineering drawings. From these drawings parts will be manufactured and assembled on site*Produce detailed drawings for production from design to assembly using SolidworksThe Person*Highly motivated, passionate Enthusiastic problem solver looking for a long term career that offers great progression opportunities and a background / qualification in Mechanical Engineering*Knowledge of Stress analysing and simulation programs would be beneficial*The ability to work on multiple projects at one time & work under pressure and to deadlinesThis role is for an immediate start so please send an up-to-date CV ASAP to Sarah Hibberd.
