Guaranteed Contracted Hours - flexible shifts My client, a leading provider of domiciliary care, currently has a number of opportunities for a Domiciliary Care Assistant throughout the High Wycombe area. My client will look to you personally to deliver domiciliary care, to customers in their own homes. You will have all the training and support you need (including funding you through your QCF level 2) so that you can provide care that's full of empathy, understanding, and respect. In return, they'll take equally good care of you. With a competitive salary, a generous mileage allowance, smart uniforms, paid holiday, Medicash plan and discounts on a range of local and national retailers all come as standard. The Role All customers are unique - so they all have different needs. Working from specially prepared personal care plans, you'll help out with a huge range of tasks - making sure everything's done exactly as your customers like it. Some will need your help with getting washed and dressed, or taking their medications correctly. Others might need a hand with the laundry, keeping the house spick and span, or getting in the shopping. Whatever you're doing, you'll take a real sense of pride in delivering care that sets the standard as a personal care assistant. The skills you'll need Obviously, if you have experience in delivering domiciliary care in the home that's fantastic - but for us it's not essential. My clients training academy will help you work towards your QCF 2 in Care, and build your skills. It's the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes, to treat them with respect, and to appreciate that you're in their home, and need to do things their way, that is vital. (As is good spoken English, so you can communicate clearly.) Warm, capable, reliable and discreet, you'll be a real asset to the team. On a practical level, you do need to be able to travel round the local area of High Wycombe & Chalfont to get to your customers, which means you'll need a driving licence and your own car as well as a mobile phone, to keep in touch. If you are interested in starting or continuing a career in care with a company that rewards and values not only its customers, but its employees. Apply to the Domiciliary Care Assistant position in High Wycombe now for immediate consideration.
