Apply now Our client is a very successful manufacturing company and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. We are seeking candidates with previous maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) in a manufacturing or production environment to work on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility near Smethwick. The Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance, service and repair of production plant & machinery associated with a busy production plant. You will be required to maintain equipment including but not limited to the following; MechanicalGearboxes, pumps, valvesMixing machinesExtrudersExtraction units & ventsHydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical maintenance, 3 phase, motors, inverters, contactors, relays, switches, control panels, wiring, sensorsGeneral site ,maintenance Candidate: Applicants will have good electrical and mechanical maintenance skills. You will have 17th Edition electrical certification and you will be competent in 3 phase electrics, pumps / valves, motors, pneumatics and hydraulics. Ideally you will have previous experience in working in a manufacturing or production environment. However all applicants will be considered and full training will be given. You will be hard working, enthusiastic and highly motivated as essentially this will be a maintenance role which you will develop into your own.
