Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join their expanding team. A very exciting time to join one of the UK's main food suppliers into all major supermarkets.Role & Responsibilities:*To carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvement and modification or upgrade of plant, food production, high-speed packaging and site services.*Drive continuous improvements & process improvement work*Carry out project work - electrical installation & modification *Electrical fault finding & modifications of PLC's, HMi's, SCADA Systems and Control Panels*Mechanical repair and fault finding Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Engineering - Time-served Apprenticeship*Ideally be qualified to City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering*Excellent problem solving & fault diagnosis skills*Both strong electrical & mechanical fault finding and repair skills*Must have worked in fast-paced environment - Ideally food or FMCG manufacturing*Worked to a high-level on PLC systems, Control Panels, HMi's & SCADA Systems*Beneficial to have electrical safety knowledge of isolations and electrical H&S standards*Must have worked on high-speed food production & packaging machineryShifts & Benefits Package:*Shift:-12hr Shifts - 2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off (6-6)*Salary:- £35k-£40k + Regular Overtime*Benefits:- Private Pension, Life Assurance, Discounted Products, 20 Shift Days HolidayMulti-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer, PLC Engineer, Controls & Automation Engineer, Packaging Engineer, Shift Maintenance EngineerJob Reference No: SE1523 / 534Suitable candidates should apply immediately by calling our Managing Consultant for this vacancy - Chris Gumm on or by sending your CV directly to him at We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
