Apply now THE ROLEReporting to the Research and Development Manager the role involves:Main Duties:- Turn customer/product requirements into feasible designs- Understand regulatory requirements and industrial standards and be able to implement them into product/system designs- Be a key part of the R&D project team throughout the entire product design process from initial experimentation through to Production release- Discuss requirements with the design team and agree potential solutionsSkills / Competencies:Essential:- Analogue and mixed signal- Practical understanding of op-amps, ADCs and DACs (preferably high resolution)- Design for EMC & EMC test methods- Simulation and calculation of designs- Design for Manufacture and Test- High level of I.T competence including MS Office softwareDesirable:- Linear and switch mode power supply design for low power circuits- Understanding of Electromagnetism- Past experience of working with Magnetometers or magnetic testing equipment- Schematic capture and PCB layout (preferably using Altium)- Serial communications experience- Measuring instruments and Sensor development- High level of I.T competence including MS Office softwareWorking Hours:- This position is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridayOnly applicants meeting the strict criteria outlined above will be contacted as part of the shortlisting process.Contact: Andy CoxT: E:
