Apply now COMPANY OVERVIEW:Our client is a high technology business based in Oxford and is currently recruiting a project coordinator to join their team as soon as possiblePOSITION OVERVIEW: Your primary role is to coordinate and contribute to a range of internal and external projects across the business. This is a very hands-on activity which requires excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of organisation.ESSENTIAL MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:Co-ordinate multiple projects throughout their full life cycle, including Work with the relevant groups to define the scope and requirements for projects, e.g. customers, government /EU funding bodies, certification agencies, sales and engineering teamsProduce, distribute and manage project documentationEnsure projects progress to plan wherever possible and escalating and resolving any issues as they arisePrime point of contact for project-related queriesSupport visits and trialsCo-ordinate supplier & sub-contractor activities as requiredProject debrief and lessons-learned activities DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE: Creating documents, using own knowledge and input from others, including Project proposals, plans, budget, reports, timesheets, expenses, risk assessments Monitoring project progress and co-ordinating activities according to the project planContributing to project activities as defined by the project plans, including TestingDocumentation, e.g. Reports, User Manuals Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including chairing meetingsMaintain the archives for project recordsCollate project-related quotations, raise purchase order requests, progress orders and carry out goods-in checks for supplied products and servicesSupport external visits both on-site and off-site, e.g. customers, suppliers minimum SKILLS REQUIRED: Degree or equivalentExpertise in Microsoft office and other software used in project contextFamiliarity with risk analysis techniquesRelevant project coordination experienceEngineering background would be an advantage
