Apply now My client, a leading training provider, is seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to join their team, based over 2 sites in London Bridge and Moorgate. Reports To: Student Experience Manager (London) Direct Reports: Student Experience Officer (Facilities) x 3 + Student Experience Officer (Maintenance) Key Stakeholders: Property, Faculty, Student Experience (CBE & Front Desk), and all students/visitors to London training locations Primary Objectives: Lead a team of 4 and ensure efficient allocation of Student Experience (Facilities) resource across LondonProvide all students and visitors with an outstanding impression of facilitiesEnsure the training locations and the classrooms are prepared for our students in terms of equipment, layout and materials Responsibilities: Management Establish and develop an effective and knowledgeable teamManage a programme of development for employees within the Student Experience Facilities teamEnsure the Student Experience Facilities team understand and are engaged with individual, function and business vision and goalsEnsure the Student Experience Facilities team are meeting KPI's and service level agreements in placeEnsure early and efficient production of the staff rota, ensuring the required coverage for all London training locationsReview team performance regularly, to ensure a quality of service is delivered by the Student Experience Facilities teamEnsure all cyclical HR activities are completed including goal setting and performance and development processesParticipate in HR activities, including the recruitment process, as requiredDrive national initiatives such as Building a Brighter Future Centre operationsEnsure that the student environment, including all break-out areas, CBE rooms and classrooms, and the shared office space are presentableEnsure resolution of all building related issues such as faulty equipment, lighting, cleanliness etc.Ensure reporting/resolution of any IT problems at the training locationsOversee building or function relocations across London including refurbishments and office reconfigurationsLiaise with local contractors such as vending and cleaning to ensure high quality services for studentsAct as a health & safety representative, including induction and training for new team membersAssist with any catering services as required Course operations Manage material across London including movement and stock reviews, liaising with the Resource Management teamEnsure that all course materials are provided as scheduled, in the required room/locationCoordinate classroom set-up changes, room moves, and classroom partitions as requiredResponsible for building opening and closing, where appropriate The post holder will, in addition, carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by their line management or senior manager.
