This well respected organisation has been supplying this marketplace for decades, establishing and nurturing long term relationships with a customer base at the forefront of technology.We seek to recruit a customer focused and highly motivated Multi-skilled Field Service Engineer, responsible for developing customer relationships and servicing and maintaining a range of high value, PC-controlled capital equipment. The role will involve carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, equipment installations, breakdown fault-finding and repair on a range of electronic and electro-mechanical systems utilised in ticketing and payment machines.To apply you should have experience in a field service or technical support role, working on electronics, electro-mechanical or PC-controlled capital equipment. Ideally you will have a technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 224, ONC/HNC in Electronic / Electrical / Engineering.You should have a strong fault finding ability, Electro-mechanical service skills and good PC hardware knowledge. Any experience of repairing car parking or ticketing or fare automation systems would be beneficial. Any exposure to coin-operated mechanisms, note validators, ticketing machines, payment machines, automatic barriers or gates would also be beneficial.This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values its employees and rewards innovation.
