About the Role We are looking for an experienced Flood Risk Engineer / Hydrologist, to complement the Civil Engineering team in our Birmingham officeworking on various development projects UK wide. As well as hydraulic modelling and the preparation of flood risk assessments this role also involves conceptual drainage and SUDs designs. Liaison with Drainage departments and agencies is vital as are site visits and attendance at public consultation events. Additionally, this key role requires client engagement and the development of the client base / new work streams. About You Ideally you will have BSc (Hons) Geography, MSc Water Resources Management or Climate Change and Policy or a similar Environmental qualification. Several years' experience in flood risk engineering is required and experience in hydraulic modelling and drainage design is preferred. Suitable candidates will possess excellent report writing and communication skills which are both essential when engaging with clients and external agencies.
