Apply now Position: Global Loss Prevention Analyst Reporting to: Global Loss Prevention Assistant Manager Scope: Global Department: Internal Audit Purpose Based at the Headquarters of a Globally recognised Retailer and working in a team of 5, the role will control and monitor internal and external threats and misappropriations. Provide a viable instrument to identify possible misappropriation within the organization through various tests and analysis techniques. Loss Prevention Test Development Based on regular discussions, define new tests that are logical, feasible, effective and beneficial for the group, aiming to identify fraudulent activity, ensuring loss is minimized and awareness is maximizedContinuously develop, support and enhance Loss Prevention procedures and methodologies through structured changes to new and existing programs or controlsExecution of Loss Prevention tests to be doneExecute current validations by conducting regular details tests and analysis of data collected and report as scheduledPerform tests independently using data mining techniquesSupport group companies' asset misappropriation and controls to leverage awarenessUnderstand the methods of conducting data analyses and investigations, identifying internal integrity issues and analysing the resultsEnsure proper report writing record keeping and retention of evidence when applicableActively monitor exception reports for issues alone and in conjuction with divisional auditorsAssist Divisional Auditors by providing all Loss Prevention information during the planning phase for all Internal Audit engagements and as a required throughout the audit processIdentify and ensure communication upward of issues that must be addressed at a higher level Information Technology Using technical tools/systems create the required technical environment to extract and analyse dataExtract alone data from various IT sourcesCreate and execute queriesWork with internal IT partners to help evaluate that existing software of in-house programs have the necessary built in controls General Work cross functionally with other departments to maximize data accuracy Personal Profile Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or similarHigh attention to detail - passion for data and working within Excel.Fraud detection and investigationData mining working knowledgeAbility to create queriesExperience in Multi-Cultural environments Desirable Knowledge of police, legal and fraud procedures and their methodology in some countriesCertified Fraud Examine On Offer An opportunity to join a globally recognised organisationCompetitive salary up to £32KExcellent benefits package including bonusPotential to progress to Division Internal Auditor or Global Loss Prevention Assistant Manager
