Apply now My client is a well established freight forwarder who is seeking a Health and Safety officer to join their team! Your main duty will be to drive and coordinate the highest standard of health and safety procedures. Daily duties include: Drive and deliver the company's internal health and safety policiesInform, manage and drive the business to make appropriate working practice changes that are compliant with legislation and the Health and Safety ExecutiveLeading in house training and coaching at all levels to ensure employees to meet their Health and Safety responsibilitiesAdvise, manage and coordinate on health and safety matters e.g. fire regulations, safeguarding and machineryAssist with and review risk assessments with the appropriate managers and isolate how risks can be reducedOutline and document safe operational proceduresCarry out regular audits of risk areas, compliance and the adherence to legislative requirementsEnsuring all accidents, incidents or near misses are fully investigated and all necessary paper work is completedMonthly reviewsProduce KPI and financial reports Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm Skills: Excellent organisationExcellent communication skillsGood time management
