Apply now Vacancy Details Job Title: HR Manager ( Human Resources Manager ) Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 Location: North London / Huntingdon - Home based / client facing HR Manager required - Our client is a market -leading organisation that provide HR (Human Resource) and Payroll services to schools and academies nationwide since 1993. They employ over 130 staff and support over 900 schools and academies. They have seen significant year on year growth on the back of their reputation for providing a high-quality service to their clients. An opportunity has now arisen in the London / Huntingdon area for a HR Manager As a HR Manager ( Human Resources Manager ) your duties will include - Manage and support a portfolio of schools/academies on all aspects of HR managementWork closely with the HR Admin / HR Advisor and Payroll colleagues to ensure a seamless HR and Payroll ServiceRespond to a wide range of customer enquires and provide comprehensive advice on the full range of employment issues such as employment legislation, best practice, policy and procedures on a range of HR matters including complex casework, recruitment and selection, remuneration, terms and conditions of service, disciplinary and capability (performance and health) cases, grievance, redundancy and school restructures - liaising with our clients in-house lawyer and senior colleaguesUndertake client visits where appropriate to provide support and advice on HR issuesTo attend and advise where necessary at formal hearings / appeals, including dismissals and attend and advise at union consultations meetingsIdentify situations where legal/safeguarding support is needed and liaise as appropriateSupport with administrative and HR processing matters, as required The successful Senior HR Manager (Human Resource Manager ) will have the following skills / experience - (CIPD) Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification (level 3) or equivalentFull Driving Licence and own transportMinimum of 18 months experience in an advisory positionExperience including advice and support for manager training, appointment and dismissal of staff, grievance, disciplinary procedures, absence management, redundancy etcExperience of attending hearings including dismissalProviding advice on employment legislation and conditions of service to ensure compliance and best practiceHighly skilled communicator both verbally and in writing
