Due to our outstanding continuing success, we are seeking a FULL TIME buyer for our jewellery centre in Rochester, Kent. To buy a range of new product that compliments and supplements a large pre-owned business. Adhering to all current legislation and keeping ahead of new legislation. Key responsibilities: To deliver quality and compliant product To produce a balanced and commercial range which reflects the customers' requirements Produce sales reports on a weekly basis and take action on those results Monitor stock levels using the OTB's React to sales - to maximise opportunities Purchase agreed products through our supplier base Raise purchase orders Broaden the supply base Price comparative shop to maintain our value Ensure all suppliers meet with relevant compliance and legislation Skills required: Good standard of education and grammarExpereince of working as a buyer, buyers assistant or merchandiser - ESSENTIALHighly numerateCustomer focusedExcellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyOrganisedSelf motivatedAble to multi task The person: Ideally have previously worked within watch or jewellery sales A formal industry qualification would be advantageous What we offer: Based in our Jewellery Centre in Rochester, Kent.
