Apply now An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of department Commercial solicitor to join a well-established firm in Leeds city. The Commercial team deal with a broad range of Commercial contract matters including outsourcing, supply and distribution and agency arrangements. This work is gained through the excellent market presence the firm has, and referrals both externally and cross referred from other areas of the business. The successful Commercial solicitor will work as part of a cohesive team and will be given every opportunity to develop their career with the firm. There will also be the opportunity to play an integral role with business development and marketing. The firm have advised they are interested in candidates with varying levels of PQE for this opportunity and due to the growth of the department they feel they are able to adapt the caseload to the successful candidate's level of experience. Solicitors with 5 + PQE are therefore strongly encouraged to apply. This is a senior post will lead the established team and aid in future business development for the practice. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team in a supportive environment and have a good sense of strategic and commercial decisions.
