Fantastic opportunity to join a well established manufacturer in South Devon, Newton Abbot as a Health & Safety Facilitator for a minimum 6 month fixed term contract. This is a new role to make further improvements towards the goal of becoming health & safety champions and to lead the way in their sector. The main purpose of this role would be to inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. Another large part of this role will be to educate and upskill the workforce on safe working practices and lead EHS activities and initiatives. Previous experience in health and safety is essential, ideally in the manufacturing sector. IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications would be an advantage.
