Apply now We would like to speak to individuals with experience in high-risk environments, ideally from within manufacturing, Construction and Heavy Engineering industries. You would be joining a well-known and highly respected manufacturer to become a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. Our client is at the start of a new chapter for HSE and is looking for someone who has tangibly improved the HSE culture within an organisation and has a history of coaching and mentoring employees, to take self-ownership of Health, Safety and Environment. You will be responsible for 3 direct reports, who will cover operational Environment and Safety activity at the site. As a result, this role will offer both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. You will be part of the site leadership team for the organisation, therefore being able to liaise and build rapport with senior stakeholders is of paramount importance. You will also be responsible for: Leading on HSE mechanisms, including the application of company systems and management reportingJointly leading on behavioural safety within the company, through the delivery of the company culture change programmeSupporting and continuously improving HSE policies and standards to maintain OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 accreditationsProviding leadership support to site management, allowing for effective delivery of all elements of HSE management to the wider team To be considered for this position, you must have: NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
