As the Health and Safety Officer, you will support the QHSE Manager in the maintenance and improvement of the H&S systems, processes and procedures. Provide support in the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of the importance of health and safety, support the managers to maintain safe working environments and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 90001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Ongoing review of risk assessments, creating new risk assessments where necessary and to act to mitigate the impact and likelihood of risks. To be successful, it is preferred that you will have a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Safety & Health, NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is essential as well as Internal Auditor 9001, 14001 and/or 18001, good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation & best practice and appropriate experience of service delivery within a manufacturing Industry. It is also essential that you can work under pressure; think clearly and act decisively, have excellent IT and communication skills. Travail employment group is operating as an employment agency.
