This is a long term, temporary teaching opportunity to start from Easter 2018. If you have QTS, QTLS or relevant experience of teaching at KS5 and are looking for a long term teaching job in Birmingham, then I would like to hear from you. Providing exceptional learning is the top priority within this sixth form and the senior management team work closely with their staff to ensure they are part of a strong support network. The college provides a wide range of courses including Arts, Business, MFL, ICT and Science amongst others. In their most recent Ofsted, they were rated as 'Good with Outstanding Features', with an "outstanding enrichment programme" They consistently have a +90% pass rate and the vast majority of their second year students progress to university. The setting is well facilitated to assist their teachers in all lessons provided.This post is offered as a temporary, full time role, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role it is offered as a paid to scale post. There is the possibility to apply for the post on a more permanent basis for September 2018. The college are able to fully support NQTs in completing their induction year and have links with a local secondary school who assist in this. All applications are to be dealt with by Hays Education. Informal visits to the school can be arranged and are encouraged prior to official interviews. The ideal candidate for this permanent Health and Social Care teaching job will hold UK QTS or QTLS. It's important that candidates also have recent experience teaching KS5 and have strong knowledge of the current Health and Social Care curriculum. Candidates for this job will be professional, punctual and contribute to raising standards and pupil attainment.
