We currently have over 680 franchised study centres across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an IT Support Administrator to support the ICT & Systems Manager in overseeing the administration, maintenance and development of the UK IT infrastructure for Kumon Europe and Africa. This is primarily an administrative, not hands-on technical role, although some technical knowledge is necessary. This role also includes many aspects of data administration for the organisation. This role will be based in Enfield for the first six months, following on from this, the role will then be based in our Head office in Ealing. Main Responsibilities: To support the ICT & Systems Manager in overseeing the Kumon Europe & Africa UK-based IT infrastructure (servers, network, hardware, software and licenses).To maintain an overview of the support of the IT infrastructure provided by outsourced 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technicians from such companies as appointed by Kumon Europe & Africa and to act as an additional point of contact when necessary.To monitor systems with the brief to escalate any issues as required.To ensure adherence to policies which facilitate the security of all IT equipment within Kumon Europe & Africa.Ensure all IT equipment and systems within Kumon Europe & Africa are serviceable and fit for purpose, ensuring the support provider's ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems. In addition, provide sound recommendations and proposals for the purchase of any IT resources that may be deemed necessary.To provide regular and ad-hoc reports of data as and when requested by staff of Kumon Europe & Africa.To ensure comprehensive documentation of procedures and role are maintained, and to ensure that system documentation and support process is regularly reviewed Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology Requirements Excellent Microsoft skillsAnalytical skillsExcellent diagnostic skills for technical issuesUnderstanding Network, Servers, Licenses and Microsoft Operating SystemsAbility to work autonomouslyProject management experience is desirableExcellent communication skills The interview process will consist of: Initial telephone or face-to-face interview with the hiring manager.If successful you will be invited to attend an orientation meeting/assessment morning, in a centre around the country, all expenses paid. The assessment morning will not be solely based on tests, but also presentations.The final stage will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session and a face-to-face interview.
