This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and become part of an on-site Engineering Department supporting the main production process and associated support services. Responsibilities include:*Heavy involvement in planned preventative and predicative maintenance techniques.*Ensure work is completed in a safe and timely manner, in full compliance with all statutory regulations and site HS&E standards, policies and procedures.*Investigate electrical plant faults, diagnose and rectify defects.*Provide out of hours support where required.Essential Experience required:*Time served Electrician.*Heavy industrial electrical experience in area's such as PLCs, drive motors, fan systems, pumping systems, invertors,*Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. *Technical expertise to read electrical drawings and fault find.*Good IT Skills as well as strong people and communication skills.*Full UK driving licence.Desirable:*A relevant further high level qualificationThe role is strenuous and requires working at heights, in confined spaces therefore the candidate must be physically fit.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
