Apply now Insurance Operations Manager, Maidstone Barker Munro Recruitment, the Kent based Insurance recruitment specialists, are currently working with a fantastic organisation based on the outskirts of Maidstone who are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled insurance professional to manage a team of insurance professionals and with day to day management of the division. You will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Managing 2 direct reports which will involve: holding 121's, appraisals, and management reporting• Overseeing team performance and ensuring the department is running efficiently• Arrange training activities and manage training strategies• Ensure that cases are managed to a high standard• Involved in recruitment within the team and attend interviews• Liaising with underwriting departments• Maintain up to date compliance To be successful for this position you will ideally be able to demonstrate an understanding of the insurance Medical/Travel industry whilst also demonstrating strong decision making and leadership skills across a business ever changing business. You will also be able to set, meet and exceed targets and have a strong customer centric focus.
