Apply now Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Finance Systems Analyst to join a prestigious Higher Education organisation based in Central London. This fantastic opportunity is for an initial 6 months with scope to be extended further providing cover for an internal secondment. Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, responsibilities will include; -Prepare reports for the Finance department including; performance and analysis of reconciliations and manipulations of complex data using Oracle R12 (Oracle E-Business Suite). -Support the decision makers and further investigate any multifaceted issues within the Finance department including guidance of functioning UAT (user acceptance testing). -Working closely with the Finance Systems team in a timely manner to assist on month-end and year-end matters relating to the organisation's Information System.-Working with the Finance System Manager, complete internal controls and reviews to recognise ways to improve the efficiency of the department. -Be seen as the departments 'super user' and provide the training across other non-financial departments to expand the knowledge of the technology across the organisation. -Working with relevant stakeholders to create solutions and recommend better ways the organisation can use finance systems. -Be heavily involved in smaller Finance Systems projects as well as assisting the Finance Systems Manager on larger projects.It is essential to be considered for this role you will have recent experience with Oracle R12 or Oracle R11i, and operated in a similar finance systems position - you do not need an accountancy qualification for this role just a good grounding and understanding in finance. Additional implementation or upgrade experience would be beneficial as too would previous experience in an education background however neither is essential.
