Job Summary We are looking to recruit a Junior Construction Project Manager who has 3-4 years retail fit-out project management experience in this sector. Working closely with the Construction Project Manager you will be a key contributor to the efficient running and delivery of these store fit out projects. Key Responsibilities Managing the overall project fit-out programme utilizing MS ProjectControlling the fit-out store budgets and handling all supplier procurementLiaising with landlords, solicitors, land agents, retail designers and building controlOverall communication and co-ordination of all sub-contractorsAssisting in managing the new store snagging issues to resolutionOrganising surveys, issuing of contractor RA/MS and tender pack submissionsAssisting in the collection of post fit-out documentation e.g. As-Built drawings / O&M manualsManagement of small and medium refurbishment projects and upgrade worksHandling all maintenance issues and H&S policies relating to existing stores.Liaise with sub-contractors and third parties to resolve queries satisfactorily Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience Proven track record working in the retail fit out/interior construction sectorsExperienced in dealing with railway stations/shopping centres would be advantageousAbility to read scaled plans and interpret store design requirementsProven organisational, planning and implementation abilitiesWorking knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Asana advantageous Ability to prioritize and possess the flexibility to adjust to constantly changing demandsAbility to work effectively under limited supervision in a fast-paced environmentResults orientated, pragmatic, assertive, tenacious, conscientious with a positive attitude Excellent communication skills combined with diplomacy and tact in dealing with people
