The position is based on a 3 shift rotation Monday - Friday between 7am and 6pm As an experienced individual, you will be skilled in all aspects of Vehicle Repairs and servicing. Key Responsibilities:Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installationOverhaul electrical equipment and componentsWelding (if authorised)Control (as directed) the work of Assistant Technicians, Workshop Assistance, and Apprentice Vehicle TechniciansRecord attendance, work performance, times taken and associated detailsCarry out inspection and repair of Automotive Workshop equipment as directedUse of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Automotive Workshop Supervisor to maximise workshop efficiencyUndertake the duties of Assistance Technician and Automotive Workshop Assistant as requiredMay be required to substitute the Vehicle Technician in ChargeWorking at all times in accordance with Safety policy and legal requirements.
