Apply now Luxury Retail / Art Gallery Sales This is a great opportunity to work as an Art Consultant / Luxury Retail sales person for one of the biggest Art Publishers in the UK. Please note: The realistic OTE (on target earnings) are a combination of a good basic salary and commission - whilst uncapped you should realistically earn between £25000 to 35000 Based in their stunning Bournemouth Gallery which is a commercial gallery selling contemporary original paintings and limited edition prints. The art work is gorgeous, and covers a range of styles. It is a great product to sell! The sales process is professional and consultative - you will set high standards of customer service and client management. Working to targets, the role will involve reacting to the footfall; proactively use and add to the Gallery's client database; networking for new clients; and helping to organise prestigious events and promotions with their international and well established artists. You will have target driven sales experience coupled with a warm, outgoing and vibrant personality. A general interest in Art is helpful, but you certainly don't need to be an expert. Excellent training is provided, including a four day Art Academy, which is their in-house training. They set reasonable and achievable targets, and uncapped commission is part of your package. The inspirational owner of the company, who set up the business, is still very much a part of both the recruitment and training process. Not surprisingly, weekend work is required, and a driving license is preferred as they offer home approvals/consultations.
