Apply now Salary: Competitive + Relocation Assistance + Bonus + Healthcare Our client is currently seeking a Legal Counsel, who will report directly to the General Counsel and Group Company Secretary, you will work closely with senior management, advising on a broad range of commercial and intellectual property issues. You will ideally be a strong commercial/IP lawyer although litigation, corporate or competition would also be desirable but not essential. You must have trained in a top firm, have good academics and ideally be between 2-5 years' PQE. Any in-house experience within the technology or gaming sector is preferable but not required as is any language skills (German in particular). This exciting Legal Counsel role will see the successful candidate take on challenges and responsibilities such as: Drafting, negotiating, reviewing a variety of commercial agreements, including: o NDA's/confidentiality agreements o Software agreements o Business terms and conditions o Game content and licensing agreements o Data processing agreements o Consultancy and agency agreements o Letters of intent o Heads of terms o Service and supply agreements Assisting to manage, update and register trade-marks and intellectual propertyAssist in managing any litigation and liaising with external counselSupport the company secretary in drafting board minutes and resolutionsAdditional Duties: o Admin duties o Training o Drafting policies and procedures If this is the kind of opportunity you have been looking for then you will need the following commercial skills and attributes: Legal experience from a top law firm and/or in-house companyLanguage skills would be an advantage (German)Qualified solicitor or barristerExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks accordinglyMeticulous attention to detailPositive 'can do' attitude, approachable, pro-active, and adaptable & flexibleAny in-house experience within the technology or gaming sector is preferable but not required Based in Gibraltar, not only is this a fantastic career opportunity, it is also a chance to experience a great lifestyle in a location with over 300 days' sunshine per year!
