Apply now Our client, an established water treatment/water hygiene company is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor/Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a variety of contracts in Scotland. Applications from Central Belt - South Lanarkshire, East Kilbride, Ayrshire and the surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & experience:The applicant will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds.Experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/Water Hygiene industry. Must have good working knowledge of chemical treatment of cooling towers, steam boilers, etc.Good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and ACOP L8.Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes and quotations.Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
