This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a portfolio of business and build on their underwriting authority. Key Responsibilities: Underwriting both new and existing business within your given authority limitBuilding relationships with brokers as well as making regular visits across the UK and future possibility of international travelContributing towards the development of new Life Science products in accordance with the company strategy and alongside the Underwriting ManagerUnderwriting risks originating from across the globe (Non-US)Work closely with the Underwriting Manager in all aspects of the development of the Life Science portfolio including competitive pricing and wordings analysis. Ideally we are looking for individuals with experience underwriting or broking Life Science risks although those with a Property and Casualty background will be considered.
