Main Responsibilities Managing the implementation and development of new and existing ventures and ensuring the underwriting stream is successful in meeting targets and timelines.Evaluating insurer and distributor comments and effectively managing feedback into the rules developmentProducing test packs and procedures to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of the underwriting rulesTo understand the customer's business needs and objectives and to analyse MI and experience in order to proactivelyidentify future developments and improvements Essential Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years experience working as part of an underwriting development team and with electronic underwriting enginesGood knowledge of the life insurance industry principles and practices including operations, sales and marketing, compliance and distribution.Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate findings, performance standards, and provide detailed feedbackExperience working with underwriting engines and unit testing with a good knowledge of their development and implementationAbility to work collaboratively and productively across all business units
