We are looking for a skilled MET Technician for their Newark site, who has the ability to work to very good efficiencies in order to earn an excellent salary and deliver high quality work to customers and manufacturers alike. The Job: MET Technician Remove & refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehicles Strip and fitMET dutiesFollow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident conditionFault finding / Diagnostics Perform road testing (if applicable)Awareness & adherence to all necessary standards and H&S proceduresThis Strip / Fit M.E.T Technician should also have the following experience and qualifications: To dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair methodEnsure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standardsEnsure that all jobs are completed within the estimated timesCheck that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for credit Job Experience Required: MET Technician City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop RepairPrevious Bodyshop M.E.T experience is essentialStrip and fit and trim experienceRebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop In return you will be offered: A salary of up to £11.00 per hour basic plus a time saved bonus on topAn excellent working environment If you would like to be considered for the MET Technician job role please send your CV to us or call 078-088-41875 for an immediate interview
