Apply now Our client's in the Manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced and qualified Engineer to ensure the proper and safe functioning of its factory machinery.Principal responsibilities include:-Ensuring all machinery and equipment runs smoothly-Servicing and repairing all equipment-Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate-Handling any equipment breakdowns immediately-Fixing faults on site-Ordering and fitting replacement parts as necessary-Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule-Working closely with the Production ManagerThe ideal candidate MUST:-Be a Qualified Engineer with the necessary qualifications relevant to equipment involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic AND hydraulic systems-Have a minimum of 5 years experience working, with at least 3 years being in the industry-Good communication skills-Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills-Ability to work well under pressure with a varied workload-Have flexibility to work out of hours for emergency call outs, if needed-Other elements that would be beneficial:Do you have these skills?*PAT Testing and Safe Working at Heights*Fault Finding Experience*PLC knowledge*Computer knowledge for maintaining and updating records*An understanding of engineering drawings and principlesPlease give us a call at Futures Recruitment Services to discuss the role in more detail.
