The role requires a strategic approach towards the development and implementation of plans to reach alumni and maintain positive relationships with both past and present students. You will liaise with College staff at every level, as well as alumni, students and volunteers. Your work will create an appealing culture of interaction between Newham College and its alumni, by promoting the College's interests through mutually beneficial relationships. You will oversee every alumni related activity, with the inclusion of events, varied communications and services for alumni members. Your written work will appear online and in print as you publicise key information that impacts alumni. You will come into contact with a wide range of people, as the primary representative concerning all alumni matters. You must have significant experience in alumni relations, fundraising, public relations or a similar role, having worked either in marketing, education or a membership organisation. You will have excellent customer service and relationship building skills, together with the confidence to plan and manage marketing activities and successful events.
