Apply now Salary: Circa £16 - £20 / hr PAYEContract length: 6 monthsOur leading Defence & Aerospace client is currently looking for a Mechanical Assembler for their Hemel Hempstead operation for an initial 6 month period, to perform general assembly and test duties on small scale assemblies.This role will consist of 80% Assembly and 20% test ( training will be given on test procedure)Skills:We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:*Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical measuring equipment .*Have a good knowledge/ experience of mechanical assembly.*Ability to assemble to drawings, build instructions & process specifications.*A right first time attitude and ability to develop skills as production demands dictate.*Ability to work methodically, with an attention to detail.*Effectively & openly communicate within a dedicated production team.*Awareness of Quality standards within an Aerospace Production Environment.Please respond with your most current CV to be considered for this vacancy.
