Apply now ROLE- Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Suffolk TERM- Permanent SALARY- £32,000- £40,000 per annum (Please advise what you're looking for) My client design and manufacture products and components for specific markets and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis in the Suffolk area. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experienceKnowledge and proficiency with using 3D CAD (Creo / ProE ideal but other programmes may also be considered i.e SolidWorks or Inventor)Two years' or more mechanical design experience working in a similar environmentKnowledge of HVAC systems / mobile vehicles is ideal but similar will also be consideredBe able to solve technical problems that ariseEligibility and availability to travel throughout Europe and occasionally globallyAbility to clearly communicate with associates and customers As the Mechanical Design Engineer your main duties will include: Developing designs and solutions for company products and components using Creo CADDeveloping prototypes and modifications of existing units through discussion, explanation and designDeveloping mobile HVAC product specifications for vehiclesPreparing detailed project schedules in conformance with Marketing and Customer requirementsAnalysing test data and results to ensure that performance specifications are satisfiedProviding technical support to the sales teamBe able to produce product schedules If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
